Whilst it isn’t necessary to have insurance on your storage unit, it is highly recommended that you do have adequate insurance cover, to protect you in the event of an unforeseen incident. We have an optional insurance product for you to purchase, or you can arrange cover through your own provider.
Yes there are a few things that you will not be able to keep in your storage unit. You must not store hazardous, dangerous, illegal, stolen, flammable, perishable, environmentally harmful or explosive goods. Unless specifically itemized and covered by insurance you must also not store goods that are irreplaceable such as currency, jewellery, furs, deeds, paintings, curios, works of art and items of personal sentimental value or items worth more than $2000 AUD in total.
We require 14 days’ notice to move out.
Yes you can, we have several large units which cater for vehicles, boats and larger items in general. Just remember that we are only a storage facility, and you can not work on your vehicle whilst it is in storage.
